# How do I delete a document?

Hover over the file, click the **three dots**, then **Delete**, and confirm.

Deleted files and folders **cannot be recovered**.

1. Open the **Documents** section.

2. Hover over the file and click the **three dots**.

3. Select **Delete**.

4. Confirm the deletion in the window that opens.
