How do I record data from the mobile app?

Once the equipment is identified, choose the data, enter its value (or scan it) and tap to confirm.

Prerequisite

The equipment must be selected. See How do I identify equipment?

1. Select the data to record from the drop-down list.

   

2. Tap the field to enter the value or text.

   For an alphanumeric value, use the Scan feature: point the camera at the QR code and the value is filled in automatically.

   

3. Tap to confirm.

No network?

Data is sent to the SILAB servers as soon as a connection (mobile or Wi-Fi) is available. Until then, it stays on the phone. You can follow its upload in My readings.
