How is your SILAB account set up?

The SILAB team configures your account for you. All you need to do is send us the map of your equipment (your checkpoints). We import it, then send you the printed QR codes.

1. Prepare the map of your equipment

   Use an Excel file with one row per piece of equipment. For each one, include:

   • the building;
   • the floor;
   • the department;
   • the room;
   • the type of equipment (shower, washbasin, etc.).

2. Send the file to the SILAB team

   Once we receive it, our team imports your data into the platform.

3. Place the QR codes

   We provide printed QR codes for each piece of equipment. Place them close to the equipment, for example on the door frame.

Good to know

Once the QR codes are in place, a simple scan with the mobile app takes you to a piece of equipment so you can record data. See How do I log in to the SILAB app?.
