How do I install a SILAB sensor?

SILAB sensors are preconfigured by our team: you just put them where they belong. Here is an example of a dual-probe sensor installed on a pipe.

  1. Prepare the pipe

    • Place the supplied clamp around the pipe without fully tightening it.
    • If needed, neatly cut the insulation on the relevant section.

  2. Position the probe

    Slide the probe tip (the flat metal tip) under the clamp, in contact with the pipe.

  3. Secure the probe by fully tightening the clamp.

  4. Put the insulation back around the pipe.
